Sandra joined the Vives team in 2024 as Senior Investment Manager and brings 7 years experience in Life Science investments. Prior to joining Vives, she joined Droia Ventures in 2017 where she became a partner and focused on private investments in oncology & genetic disease therapeutics. A key focus for her was on early stage venture investing and company creations where she took both board positions as well as operational C level roles in start-up companies. To further enable the company creation strategy, she was responsible for the set-up of Droia Labs which provides hands-on support for new ventures.
Sandra completed her PhD at the university of Leuven focused on the role of Metabolism in Angiogenesis, which was published in reputed journals Nature and Cell.
